“Although I've written abundant and varied pieces for the re-entrant ukulele (including my collections of lullabies, studies, and waltzes), my production of pieces for linear tuning is, at the moment, quite short. I challenged myself to write in a different manner when I thought of this new set, and I've pursued to get the best of the extended range, the sustain, the resonance, and the tonal characteristics of the baritone uke.
